Little House in the Big Woods - Laura Ingalls Wilder

This book is based on Laura’s life growing up with her sisters Mary and Carrie, and Pa and Ma in the U.S during the 1870s. There are eight more books in this series. I like this book because it is a good history book, it tells you about the olden days and what people did. It is interesting to read about things like making sugar candy, maple syrup, butter and bacon. I think kids both boys and girls over 9 would like this book.
